Nancy attended UNL where she earned a BA in Philosophy and an MS in Mathematics.
She first discovered the healing power of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she was experiencing a range of symptoms that had been undiagnosed for years. These symptoms eventually led to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2001. Nancy is happy to say she is currently symptom-free, and has used acupuncture, Chinese herbs, changes to lifestyle and diet to manage this diagnosis for 17 years, without utilizing pharmaceuticals.
Nancy has had a strong desire since diagnosis to share Chinese medicine with her community in southeast Nebraska.
